2 Years of Sour, Sweet, Salty, and Bitter Experiences

It has been 2 months since I last updated my blog. Well, I purposely did that because I couldn't find any suitable post to write. Arr, actually there're a bunch of stories that I'd like to share, but somehow I just feel that I make to compile them all at a suitable time. I think now is the time.

My 2 years of education International Education Centre (INTEC) wouldn't have been enjoyable if I don't meet a lot of new friends from different programs. I met new friends by joining clubs, societies, volunteer program, or simply met by chance. Most of my friends of course I met in classes. Recalling my earlier days in INTEC, I was just an ordinary girl who's so short and chubby. Looking at my photos, I look younger 2 years ago, freshly graduated high school gal. Now, I look a bit different. There're some changes in my appearances. I think. I notice I don't look as young as I am when I just joined INTEC members in June 2008. I was 16 years and 11 months old back then and when I graduated, I'm 18 years and 10 months.

I still remember how excited some of my friends were when I was about to reach EIGHTEEN (18) years old last year. 18 is like the year of "welcome to the adult world". Until now, I never think of myself as an adult. Even my dad thinks that I'm still her 17 year old daughter. Sweet Seventeen ! One day (this year) he was like, "You're already 18? I thought you're still 17." Well, some people treated me as a young girl because of my body size, and my childish attitude. The word "innocent" is very synonym with me. What to do, I'm small. Even my 2 younger siblings are taller and bigger than me. Phrases like, "Don't dirty her mind.","Faseeha, you need to know this. You're big enough to know this.","OMG, you don't get it ?". What do you expect from someone who went to an all girls school for 2 years when she was 15-16 years old to know a lot about what others know about you-know-what stuffs. Even when I was 13 years old I confused between the word "condo" and "condom" and because of that, some of my prefects fellows laughed at me. I was not exposed back then. Not even at home. When I came to INTEC, I learnt a lot of new things. Then only I realized that I'm such a girl with very few knowledge about things that I should know as a young adult.

I still wonder how those people become so knowledgeable in that area. It's like they've been studying about that particular subject for years that they can become expert in that. And well, I learnt a lot of bad words also. New bad words in other languages as well. Words that I never use at home, or in school last time have been the song of ears everyday especially "Shit" and "F***". My parents strictly ban all of my siblings from using not only those 2 words, but also other bad words. But sometimes we just make exception for words like "Bodoh".

Let's just leave the topic. I'd like to move on with the good things. For 6 semesters I was in INTEC, I went to 6 different classes. Let me just recall.

BTN camp was totally an experience to remember, no doubt !

From April 26 until April 30, I spent five days in Sepang for a very significant and special camp. The name of the camp is Kem Bina Negara Tanjung Rhu. Five days without phone and lack of sleep. Lack of sleep is normal for me, but living without a phone is something which rarely happens in my life. However, the absence of a hand phone was a good thing as I could save money from being used on calling or texting people. Besides, when the hand phone was not around, I didn't have to think about the safety of my phone there. I enjoyed all the activities there. They actually made us ran 2 km within 15 minutes. That was something very hard for me to achieve because I haven't exercised for a month. Surely my stamina has decreased. However, with my spirit of "I can do it!", I finished the activity in 14:17. OK la tu...girls are supposed to finish the run within 24 minutes. However, at night i could feel the pain of muscle tear in my thighs. Most of us had the same thing because we didn't warm up properly before we ran. The pain was felt especially when I tried to sit down or stand up. Apart from this activity, I like other activities too like absailing.

In my opinion, it should be made compulsory for all Malaysians who are 18 years old and above to attend Kem Kewarganeraan a.k.a Kem Birotatanegara. Then only these Malaysians, especially the young generation can understand the real meaning of independence of Malaysia. Before I attended the camp, I was ignorant about the history of independence of Malaysia. I knew that some of our ancestors had to sacrifice a lot of things in order to get the independence of our country from British. But, I never thought of understanding their feelings at that time. The last activity that we did with the facilitators was the most interesting of all. They actually brought us back to the decade before Federation of Malaya gained independence, with them playing the role of the British. The whole scene was played back with this group of ignorant people who didn't care at all about gaining independence, some people who didn't do anything wrong but was caught by the "British" and were forced to admit their mistakes (the innocent warriors), some people who worked hard in finishing our task : to produce our own Jalur Gemilang from pieces of red, yellow, white and blue cloths (patriotic citizens) , and some people who had nothing to do and just did their own businesses. I was one of those who prepared the Jalur Gemilang, so I didn't really understand what's going on with all the shoutings from all over the hall. I just know that I had to protect the flag from the "British". Only after we're done with our tasks that some of us reflected on what they thought of the whole scene and after listening to a very touching story from one of the facilitators about how hard our ancestors sacrificed for bringing independence to Federation of Malaya. OMG ! I cried like a don't know what but the tears were flowing very fast continuously. What the facilitators had done to us was just a mocking scene of how our ancestors tried to gain independence. My tears was nothing compared to their tears in trying to gain independence. I love my country, Malaysia !

On the last day, we had an exam. I thought it would be difficult, but it wasn't. It was very easy because most of the questions are common sense. One more thing, I had a minor accident in front of my dorm in the camp as I had accidentally fall into a small drain while trying to cross the drain with my heavy luggage. Somehow, while trying to cross the drain, I stepped on my black sarong. So, I tripped and fall on the ground. Whoa, it was very painful ! I sprained my left ankle. When my friends asked me whether I'm alright or not, I just said I'm ok even though I'm not ! I pretended that nothing had happened and tried to walk with the pain that only me and God knew how it felt like. I tried my best to walk normally so that people wouldn't notice that something bad had happened to me. Even until now, now that I'm writing, the pain from yesterday's incident is still torturing me...

Thanks to all the facilitators for making me understand that I should not feel at ease with the independence that I gained now because the independence might be gone again if Malaysians do not care about their country. Hopefully a lot of youngsters like me realize about this reality. I ♥ Malaysia!

Interesting Events in Spring Semester 2010

Disney's Theme Class Parade : Beauty & the Beast

Papa John pizzas

Halloween Night

Acceptance into Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), New York
I was very happy when I got a letter from RIT mentioning that I got accepted into that private university. Even though RIT is not my first choice, but I'm glad that at least I have a university to further my studies in USA. Last Thursday (April 22, 2010), I gave the reply form for accepting the offer from RIT to an OSSP officer meaning I'm accepting RIT.

Halloween Night
Somehow, this year's Halloween Night was not as interesting as last year's. It was still very entertaining especially the second video presentation, but incomparable to last year's. Sorry Thanges. I know that you're the event's organizer and we're house mates, but I have to say this. Anyway, this is just my humble opinion. Perhaps because there're very few people compared to last year's. When I walked around the hall, I kept on seeing the same faces. It's kinda disappointing also when not many seniors came and some of the seniors came without costumes for Halloween. Common guys, where's the spirit for Halloween ? Umm, perhaps they'll gain their spirit for Halloween when they go to the states. I think I criticize a lot...well, I love the decoration in the middle of the hall. That was totally awesome and a very suitable background for snapping pictures. With all the Halloween symbols like coffin, tomb etc, these had really lit up the Halloween spirit in the hall. By the way, I came with a costume. It's a very simple white costume because I just wore a baju kurung, a selendang, and a mask. With all white image, I was a "Puteri Bunian", also known as elf.

American Class Parade (Beauty and the Beast)
My class, Arkansas got Beauty and the Beast for our Disney's class parade theme. I think that's cool because the characters in Beauty and the Beast are mostly animated things like Mr. Candle, Mr. Clock, Mrs. Pot etc. After some discussion, we decided to put two guys as the main role meaning both the beauty and the beast are guys ! Haha...they're so sporting especially our beauty. We practiced quite frequently especially during the first week of American Indulgence Fiesta because we've set our target to win the inter-class competition. It turned out that we did! WE WON THE FIRST PLACE. The prize was RM 250 Papa John pizza vouchers. The judges were impressed by the way our main roles acted and controlled their feelings when they had to dance face to face very closely. Usually, it's very hard for guys to stare at themselves in a close distance. But, they managed to do it despite people were laughing at them. The servants also did well in their dance with the spontaneous act among themselves. As for the villagers who came to attack the beast and the servants for taking beauty in his house, we're (I was a villager) just additional characters. Others did well also. Surprisingly, all the four senior Biotechnology classes (Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado) grabbed all the prizes. The second place won by Colorado with their Cinderella theme (new version because the Cinderella was a guy), the third place was a tie between Alabama with their Lion King theme and California with their Hercules theme. As for my class, I was asked to become the make-up artist. So, I did make-up for some people and helped Thanges to put on her pillow costumes for Mrs Pot's character. Here are the characters in our class parade's Beauty and the Beast :

Beauty ~ Ali
Beast ~ Izzat
Mr Candle ~ Muru
Mr Clock ~ Wei Jie
Mrs Pot ~ Thanges
Dog ~ Aiman
Cups ~ Nina & Aisyah
Fork ~ Qing De
Knife ~ Adeline
Gustav ~ Melanie
Gustav's sidekicks ~ Yee Chen & Suhaimi
Villagers ~ the rests

Congrats, Arkansans !

Papa John Pizza Moments with Arkansans
After some discussion in class, we decided to go to Papa John restaurant in Sunway Pyramid on April 9, 2010. This is the best date because it was after our tests and one week before final exam. Most of us went there by public transport, either by train or by taxi. Only some lucky students went with Nina's car as she had to drive our guest, Mr Kamal. We ordered 9 pizzas (8 regular and 1 large) with some side dishes. While waiting for the food to be served, some of us listened to Mr Kamal's stories (he's good at giving us advices) and some talked among themselves. As for me, I was busy taking pictures of all my classmates. Two people could not come, Melanie and Ming. As for the food, I think the taste of the pizzas are more or less the same like other pizzas. Nothing special about it except the expensive prize. Even with the RM 250 voucher, we had to add some more money. I think spending money in Pizza Hut is more valuable. Hehe...btw, I love Pizza Hut !

Biology Big Day
It was on the last day of Biology lecture. In the morning, we had Biology presentation by some of the lucky students. There was also video presentations showing top three winners for the Aquaria documentary competition which was held last year. My group was not presenting on the big day. Lucky ! For the video competition, my group managed to be among the top 9 winners. Not bad...despite the quality of the video that we made in just 3 days ! I know we could've done better if we had more time. At the end of the event, Pn. Mimi bought pizzas for all of us, her Cell Biology students. Thank you, Pn. Mimi ! We love you !

Study Room Gang
To say a gang, it sound a bit weird. Like a gangster...but, I think should be ok. Well, since I always go to the study room at night, sometimes during the day as well, I've formed my own circle of friends there. These people are the common visitors of the study room in Akasia. They are Yi Lin, Siong Yee, Qing De, Li Sia, Anis, Asnida, Nina, Syimma, Wahi, Rubi, Pey Suh etc. Of all these people, Yi Lin is the one who always come here. Study room is like her second room. Haha...Our activity is not only studying. We also eat, watch movies/dramas, gossiping, and sleeping. We eat different kinds of food like burger that we always buy from opposite Cemara gate, biscuits and others. There was once I was caught by the guard while sleeping inside the study room. Sibuk betul pak cik guard tu !

No, I don't dump you...

Yes, exactly. I don't dump you, my dear blog. I think that's the best title that I could think of for my new post after not writing for 2 months. The last post was on February 26, 2010 which was two months ago. Sorry for not visiting you for a very long time. I miss writing down my stories...really miss ! I was just too busy...I guess. Or I don't know how to manage my time excellently. Well, now that I have time, lots of time to write, I'll write down about all the interesting events that had occurred in my life for the past 2 months. Let me list down first.

1. Acceptance into Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), New York.
2. Halloween Night
3. American Class Parade (Beauty and the Beast)
4. Papa John Pizza moments with Arkansans
5. Biology Big Day
6. Study room gang

Besides all these, I would also like to reflect on all the subjects that I took for Spring Semester 2010. These are the subjects :

1. Technical Writing
2. Cell Biology
3. General Chemistry II
4. Introduction to Psychology
5. Introduction to Science in Islam

Thanks to all these subjects. Wait...no, thanks to all the lecturers for filling my Spring semester with lots of new knowledge and experiences. And loads of work...hurm...but it's ok. Overall, I really treasure all those sweet moments for the past four months in Spring semester. I love all the subjects that I took and I enjoy all the classes. At least I could say that Spring semester was totally awesome ! Thank you very much dear lecturers, fellow Arkansans and the whole ACTPians. I'll write down the details for the above list in the next posts.

Girls' Day Out + Adventurous Experience + Heavy Rain

Today I went out to Sunway Pyramid with some of my schoolmates from TKC. They're Buebue, Dekna, Mimi, Soll, Ateng, Aty, Qiyah, & Kyra. After having lunch at Jusco's food court, we went to the lowest level of Ice Atrium which has Ice Skating rinks. Yeah, it's the time for ice skating ! I was so eager to skate because I would like practice some tips that I learnt from Irsyadiee and Jalal when they guided me last year. Since this was my third time and I am still a beginner, I only skated at the sides only. I don't dare to go to the center of the rinks because only professional skaters should be there. My friends are also beginners. Without nobody to depend on for skating this time, I had to be independent and brave. I skated alone all the time, and tried my best to balance myself with lots of people in the ice rinks. In line with Prophet Muhammad's birthday, today is also a public holiday. There was one time when a person suddenly push me, but luckily I didn't fell. I skated for an hour, then I rest for about 30 minutes before continued skating again. It was so tiring ! Good thing is I didn't fell at all this time !

After skating, I went shopping for my younger sister's birthday present. I bought a cute frog plush toy since she likes frogs very much. (living frogs are excluded) Then, we ate at McDonald's. As usual, gossiping session ! I didn't talk much because I was too tired. So, I just listened to their stories. When I realized that it was already 5.30 p.m., I knew that I had to leave. After saying bye to everyone, I ran out of Sunway Pyramid and waited for a bus to go to Subang KTM station. Luckily I just waited for less than 5 minutes and a bus came. When I reached Subang KTM station, a train to Klang had already been there, with open doors. Unluckily, I missed the train. Never mind...I waited until 6 p.m. and another train came. Around 6.10 p.m. I reached Shah Alam KTM station. Waiting and waiting for a RapidKL bus to come, but no bus came. Finally, at 6.30 p.m., I decided to walk back to Akasia. Yes, I WALKED BACK TO AKASIA FROM SHAH ALAM KTM STATION. Alone. Of course, on the way back, I saw a bus on its way to pick up passengers from KTM station. Well, never mine. At least I experienced something adventurous today. Don't know how many people looked at me while I was walking alone under the cloudy weather. Lightnings and thunder sometimes appeared. Around 35 minutes later, I reached Akasia front gate. 35 minutes...just like from INTEC to Akasia.

It was very exhausted to walk from Shah Alam KTM station to Akasia ! In less than 5 minutes when I just arrived in my room, my sister called and told me that my family were already waiting for me somewhere outside Akasia. Therefore, I quickly packed my laundry and my books that I want to bring back home. On the way back home, we were caught in a massive traffic jam near Proton factory in Shah Alam. This was due to the rain which pour like cats and dogs. Worse, that area was flooding with water up till knee-high. There's a video of the flood.

For dinner, my family and I went to a Malay restaurant in Kajang and had very filling foods. That's the end of my story for today.

Unexpected Winning

THE WINNING IS NOT ONLY FOR ME...BUT ALSO FOR THANGES, ILLI, NABIHA, AND JASINA.

Yesterday night (now is morning already), I went to a dinner which was organized by Fa-C Team juniors special for Fa-C Team seniors. The dinner took place in Pak Su Corner, somewhere near INTEC. The theme was red, white and pink. After a bit of confusion yesterday from morning until afternoon, I had finally chosen to wear a white jeans, a red sweater, a red head scarf and a white t-shirt inside the sweater. I thought that we were supposed to wear formal dress, but at 3.40 pm Eton came to my room and informed me that we could wear informal dress. I was totally shocked because I borrowed my schoolmate's (Eva) pink baju kurung. I became panicked at that time. I don't have red, pink or white t-shirt. Then I texted Illi to ask her for her t-shirts. She said she has a red t-shirt and a white blouse. I quickly went to her house and borrowed a white blouse, and a white t-shirt. She also gave me a red ribbon to make it in with the theme. I also borrowed Nabiha's red head scarf. When I showed to Jasina what I was going to wear, she disagreed with me. She said I looked too formal by wearing that white blouse. Suddenly I remember that Thanges has a red sweater. So, I asked her whether I could borrow that and she replied yes ! I was extremely happy at that time. Problem settled. Now just wait for the dinner...

While waiting at Akasia bus stop for Fa-C Team members to come, I had a chat with few people. They said the t-shirt that I wore look nice. "Thanks !" my reply as usual when people said something nice about me. ^_^ Well, it's actually a sweater. When I reached Pak Su Corner, few guys did not recognize me. They said I look different from the way I usually look like. How different was that ? I have no idea. Anyway, the combination of the attire that I wore that night had really put a spotlight in my life. I never win any BEST DRESS AWARD before, but I won this time ! It was totally unexpected because I wore a simple dress only. I guess because I followed the theme strictly. Hehe...Well, usually those who are crowned as the Queen of the Night are pretty ladies. Unfortunately in my case, I AM NOT ! Anyway, alhamdulillah. I got a very cute mug as the present. Plus, the mug is orange in color ! My favorite color ! ^_^

In conclusion, technically the attire's owners are :
Red sweater = Thanges
White t-shirt = Illi
Red head scarf = Nabiha
White jeans & pink shoes = Faseeha

THANKS, DEAR FRIENDS !

Thanks also dear juniors for selecting me as the winner !

What's the Connection between an Elephant and an Apple ?

Thanks a lot to Ayuni and Illi for making my day a memorable one. Today at 3 p.m. I went out with Ayuni (drove a Kembara car) and Illi to Bukit Cerakah. Yeah, it's my third time of going to Bukit Cerakah for 3 consecutive weeks. Perhaps I should go next week also to make it complete 4.

Unfortunately, when we reached there, the bicycle shops were closed. So, we had no choice but to walk to the Four Seasons House. Nah, now came the interesting part. Despite the extremely freezing cold temperature, we didn't realize that we were in the winter house with the temperature of -2 degrees Celsius for more than an hour. Impressive ! With all of us exclaiming "sejuk gila !", cold breath coming out from our mouths, and reddened noses, somehow we managed to withstand the cold temperature. Luckily I wore a sweater, but that didn't help much though. The coldness penetrated our bones (hyperbolic...hehe). We played a simple snow fight also. Wait, I think it's an ice fight, not a snow fight.

We did came out of the rooms and warmed ourselves in the hallway. While warming ourselves, we traced our names on the vapor formed on the windows. Seri is my nickname, originated from C++ Programming class last semester. Besides that, Ayuni also traced her name with her special friend who's now in USA. Meanwhile, Illi traced these two people's names who're connected to me in some ways (they're just my friends, not more than that). Ayuni then drew a picture of an elephant and an apple, representing those two. That's when the title of this post came to my mind, "What's the Connection between an Elephant and an Apple ?" The answer is Orange Tabby, that's me !

When we were busy taking pictures (as usual, girls love taking pics), suddenly the guy who were in charge of the winter house announced, "Perhatian kepada semua pengunjung. Rumah empat musim ini akan ditutup pada pukul 4.50 petang." Three of us were so panicked, that we quickly left the Four Seasons House using the back door. It was only 4.30 p.m. actually, but we were so panicked at that time. However, when we were about to open the back door, the guy announced again, "Rumah empat musim akan ditutup dalam masa 20 minit lagi. 20 minit lagi, janganlah keluar dulu. Silalah sambung tangkap gambar tadi."

Illi, Ayuni and I laughed because that announcement was meant for us. Like I said earlier, we quickly left the house when we heard the first announcement. After that, we went inside again. We continued taking pictures and the guy disturbed us by saying, "Hi adik, boleh berkenalan ? Jom la kita kenal-kenal." OMG ! What's wrong with this guy ? Never see girls before ? Tak ada keje betul.

We left the house by using the front door, as instructed by that guy. Before we left, he asked Illi whether this is her first time to be there. She replied that she had been there for 3 times already. He asked Illi only. That means he liked Illi ! Hahaha...Illi was blushing about the incident.

After that, we walked back to Ayuni's car. On the way back, we encountered a big group of monkeys. There're 10 of them I think and they're everywhere; on the trees, on the left and right side of the road, on the roof and benches. At that time, we seriously didn't know how to walk pass by them. We were totally scared of those naughty monkeys. Ayuni and I had the bad experience of being chased by monkeys. I would never forget that ! However, we gained our braveness and said some praying while walking passed by them. Alhamdulillah, nothing bad happened.

In the car, we decided to eat dinner straight away. So, we went to SACC Mall and ate in Noodle Station. After eating, we went for a light shopping. I didn't buy anything, just accompanied them to buy some stuffs.

Starting of Spring Sem 2010

It has been quite some time since I last wrote on this blog. I was quite busy on January 2 and 3, but the next few days I was free. However, I don't have internet connection in my hostel. Thanges has her Celcom Broadband, but it's slow and I have to share with my housemates. So, it's difficult for me to update on my stories.

January 1, 2010
I went out to Mid Valley with Iman and my younger brother, Aiman. We watched Cirque du Freak : The Vampire's Assistant. The movie was interesting with the good effects and good acting by the actors and actresses. The main character, Darren Shan is cute. But I think his best friend in that movie who later become his foe, Steve is cuter. I give 4.5 rating out of 5.

January 3, 2010
I went back to Akasia hostel early in the morning because I had a trip to Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam with my A-Level Medicine friends. We went there by taxi. Actually, the main event was to visit the Four Seasons House. It's winter season now. There were so many people there. They were just like us, wanted to visit the Four Seasons House. Unfortunately, we were allocated only 3 minutes to be inside the winter house. RM 3 for 3 minutes. Haish...but we did enjoy ourselves to the max during those precious 3 minutes. We took lots of pictures. It was extremely cold inside that house. The room temperature was -6 degrees Celsius. I'm pretty sure when I go to US it'll be colder than this.

January 4, 2010
We had to go to INTEC for registration. Well, it was just for 3 minutes session because we went there quite late. Lots of people went back already. At first, my housemates planned to watch movie after registration, but we had to cancel it because we had an academic briefing for ACTP students. As usual, Madam Suzana will introduce new lecturers to us. But it doesn't matter to me because I don't get any new lecturer. She also told us some information from our dear sponsor, JPA.

January 5, 2010
My housemates (Hema and Jasina. Thanges busy.) and I went to Sunway Pyramid, our usual hang-out place. We planned to watch 2 movies today. The first movie started at 12.30 pm. As dear Jasina and Hema woke up late, we had to forget our plan to eat at Pak Li for brunch. At 11 am, we rushed to KTM Station, and then took a mini bus from KTM Subang to reach Sunway Pyramid. At 12pm, we arrived in Sunway. We rushed to TGV to buy movie tickets. Luckily we made it on time. We watched Avatar 3D at 12.30 pm. This was my first time of watching a movie in 3D. It was totally superb ! I give 4.6 rating out of 5. I had to admit that the earlier part was quite boring, but worse was some part in the middle that I fall asleep for a minute. However, later when the sound became loud, I was awake and didn't feel sleepy anymore. Everything looks real in the movie ! There was one scene when bombs were thrown and it appeared to me as if the bombs were coming towards me that I closed my eyes and hugged my legs. So funny ! Hema realized that and asked me, "Are you okay?" Hahaha...

After watching Avatar, we walked around and went to few clothes stores. We also bought tickets for the next movie, Sherlock Holmes. Actually, we wanted to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, but we changed our minds after comparing both movies. As a fan of Sherlock Holmes books, I was extremely happy with their decision. We even called Thanges and asked her to join us if she's free. She said she'll join us. So, we went to buy a ticket for Thanges. When the counter guy asked for the movie, Hema quickly said Alvin and the Chipmunks. I was shocked and laughed that I quickly told that guy that it's Sherlock Holmes. When Hema realized her mistake, she also laughed. Imagine if she bought Alvin ticket for Thanges. That would be Thanges's third time of watching that movie. While waiting for the time to watch Sherlock Holmes, we walked around again. Then I felt hungry. When I'm hungry, I'll start crapping because my mind couldn't focus on what I was thinking. Haahhh....my bad.

Sherlock Holmes was "super duper best !". I give 5 rating out of 5. Full mark ! It was really a wow for me. Perhaps because I read the stories, so I could understand better. All characters were as what were described in the famous series of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Best !!

After watching movie, we went to Jusco to buy some clothes. Thanges wanted to find an orange top or dress for her dance event on the weekend. I also bought a t-shirt. We went back to Akasia at 9 pm. While waiting for the train, Jasina also said something wrong. Instead of saying a train, she mentioned a bus. Hahahaha...At 10 pm, we arrived in KTM Shah Alam. Then, we took a taxi and went to eat a very late dinner at Rafi Bistro.

Today I planned to watch a movie with Yi Lin. Yee Chen and Rubi also joined us last minute. We went to Sunway Pyramid right after class at 12 pm. Of course with baju kurung except for Yee Chen who changed into her casual attire. We watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Arghh...the movie wasn't as what was described in its review. It was not really interesting. I felt disappointed. However, it wasn't too bad either, as lots of audiences laughed when funny scenes were shown.

At night, my dad fetched me from Akasia. I went back home.

After sweeping the whole house, my mom asked me to accompany her to Pasar Tani or Agri Market. I had to put aside my plan to mop the house to tomorrow. I always enjoy going to Pasar Tani and Pasar Malam. What's more interesting was, I drove my dad's Toyota Unser car to Pasar Tani. That was my first time of driving a very big car. Well, I drove without his permission because if he knew, he'll surely wouldn't allow me. But my mom always encourage me. With my mom on my side, I gained my braveness to drive that big car. When we reached home, my mom said that I passed the test to drive my dad's Toyota Unser. Yuhuu !

I went to Low Yat Plaza with Nabiha, Lina and Rubi. There, I met Kar Wai, Jing and Raymond. I went there to buy an external hard disk, a mouse, and etc. As I don't have a car, so I went there by public transport which were taxi, ktm and monorail. Actually, we also went to Times Square for light shopping and withdrawing money as the ATM in Low Yat got hang with so many people using it. After buying and all that, we went back using public transports again. I decided not to go back to Shah Alam, instead go back to my house in Seri Kembangan. So, we separated. OMGGGG! There were so many people in line waiting for the ktm in platform 6 (to Seremban). I waited there from 6.52pm until 7.20 pm, but no train came. We were informed that trains will be delayed from the scheduled time. Ok, this is so common nowadays. I really don't understand this. Fine, I can wait. Then finally a train came. But wait! Sardines of people inside it and still, sea of people tried their best to fit themselves inside the train. What la...I don't want to be a part of them. I can still wait...

So I waited until 7.48 pm and finally another train came. This time, still lots of people but less than last time. Since my body is small, I could easily put myself inside the train. Hahaha...but look at the watch ! It's nearly 8pm. I've been waiting for ktm for almost an hour. My question is, WHAT'S WRONG WITH KTM TRAINS ? WHY CAN'T YOU FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE ?

Today is my outing day with my housemates. I drove from my house to Kolej Akasia in ShahAlam to fetch Jasina, Hema and Thanges. Then, we went to Taman Tasik Shah Alam near PKNS for canoeing. At first, we couldn't find the place to canoe. We were quite sad by that time because we were very eager for the trip. However, we never gave up. We walked around the lake to fine the place to rent canoes. Finally, we made it. I couldn't believe that we've finally in the middle of the lake canoeing. My partner was my roommate, Jasina. Meanwhile, Thanges's partner was Hema. We enjoyed canoeing so much that we took lots of photos while we were still on the lake. Besides, we also had a competition among ourselves. Jasina and I won ! Hahahaha...according to Jasina, it's because of the combination of 2 brains (engineering + biotech). It was very hot at that time because we canoed at around 11am till 12 pm.

After canoeing, we went to Galeri Shah Alam which is nearby only to the lake. After that, we went to eat at Plaza Alam Sentral. We had a very fantastic steamboat as our lunch ! It wasn't expensive by the way, so we really loved the food ! Since the Thanges's batteries for the camera almost died...haha...died...so, we couldn't take lots of photos...:((

2nd November 2009
Today I went to UKM with half of my course friends. We were accompanied by Pn. Mimi, Mr. Ishak and Miss Zulia. It was totally fun because we didn't only went into UKM's reserved forest, but we also actually managed to arrive at the peak of Bukit Rupa.

Not only that, we also went to UKM's Ferns Park where we could find various species of ferns. Then, we went to their awesome Geology Museum where they place lots of stones and minerals found under the earth. The funniest thing was that there's this very unique statues and real skulls of apes and human.

Besides that, there's this very fascinating UV light that really attracted the visitors (us) because we checked our money and ICs there for their originality. It's proven that my IC is original ! We also just found out that RM 50 note is truly beautiful when you put it under UV light.
